1. Wigan Rental

All vehicle rentals arranged through Wigan are subject to a detailed Rental Agreement issued at booking confirmation or at vehicle collection. The agreement sets out specific terms and conditions, insurance information, applicable charges and your responsibilities for that rental. If any conflict exists between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.

2. Wigan Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Wigan, you must:

Be at least 21 years old (age restrictions may vary by vehicle type, and additional fees may apply to drivers under 25). Hold a valid, full driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category, held for the minimum period specified in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid photographic identification and proof of address when collecting a vehicle in Wigan.

3. Booking and Payment in Wigan

Bookings may be made via our website, by phone, or in person at our Wigan location. A booking deposit may be required to secure your reservation. Full payment and a security deposit are typically due at vehicle collection. All prices are in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable.

4. Vehicle Collection and Return — Wigan

You must inspect the vehicle thoroughly when collecting it from Wigan and report any existing damage immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed on collection. Return the vehicle in the same condition as collected, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be assessed and charged to you in accordance with Wigan’s damage policy.

Basic third-party insurance is included with all Wigan rentals. Full coverage details and excess amounts are provided in the Rental Agreement. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the excess amount shown in the Rental Agreement.

6. Cancellation and Changes — Wigan

Cancellation and amendment terms differ by booking type and notice period. For Wigan bookings, consult your booking confirmation or the Rental Agreement for full details. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur charges.

7. Wigan Prohibitions

You must not use the rented vehicle in Wigan for:

Any illegal purpose or activity involving Wigan vehicles. Racing, rallying, off-roading, or other hazardous activities. Transporting hazardous or dangerous materials. Sub-letting to third parties or allowing unauthorized drivers. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Purposes for which the vehicle is not designed...

Violating these restrictions in Wigan may result in immediate rental termination and additional charges.

8. Limitation of Wigan's Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Wigan Vehicle Hire Services will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the fees paid by you for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.

9. Wigan Law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, including courts sitting in Wigan.

10. Changes to Wigan Terms

Wigan may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on Wigan's website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
